Welcome Back Departure Day is Friday June 3rd - 3 days away. So why do a Blog you may ask?  Well, that is a good question. Some people Blog because they like to hear themselves talk and believe others might, or should, like to hear what they have to say.   Some Blog because they like to show off what they are able to do, and others aren't.   Still others think they are imparting valuable information to the unknowing that will serve them well in their future somehow. We are "blogging" for a couple of reasons.  First, we think it will be an easy and efficient way to share pictures with family and friends and keep them informed about our progress. Also, we are going to share our experiences with the various aspects of the trip: transportation, lodging, meals, touristy things we do, etc.  I hate to use the word "review" with these things.  That sounds pretty stuffy to me.  We'll just pass along what we thought. Memorial Day 2022 (May 30th) Hello and thanks for visiting BLOG (what a horrible sounding name) We are Jim and Anita Wood.  Currently living and working in SW Florida, USA.  We moved down here just 3 years ago (a year before Covid hit hard) to continue our working career and enjoy the weather now, rather than waiting until we retired.  We figured why wait. Anita is a college instructor who made the transition from in person teaching to on-line teaching for the move to Florida. I work as project manager for a large engineering firm.
